Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This policy explains how PIC1871 s.a. handles the personal data collected through this website, in line with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who is responsible

PIC1871 s.a., Chemin Falconnier 1C, 1260 Nyon, Switzerland, is responsible for the processing described here. For any question about your data, write to us at this address or through the contact form on this website.

Contact form

When you send us a message, we receive your name, email address and message, and your company and phone number if you give them. We use them only to answer your enquiry and any follow-up, on the basis of your request and our legitimate interest in replying. Your message is delivered to our mailbox by email through Resend. We do not store it in a database, add you to any mailing list or send you an automatic confirmation email. We keep enquiries in our mailbox only as long as we need them to deal with your request and its follow-up.

Protecting the form against abuse

To keep automated spam out, the form uses a hidden field and a signed, single-use time token, and each submission is checked by Vercel BotID, which looks for signs of automation in the browser without setting cookies. To limit repeated submissions we keep short-lived counters tied to a one-way hash of your IP address, never the address itself. They expire after about ten minutes, or after one day for the overall daily limit. These counters are held in the memory of our hosting servers or in a rate-limiting store run by Upstash.

Hosting, analytics and fonts

The website is hosted by Vercel, which processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request in order to deliver the site and keep it secure, and keeps them in short-lived server logs. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views; it does not use cookies and does not identify you. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address.

Service providers and transfers

We use the following providers: Resend (email delivery), Vercel (hosting, Web Analytics and BotID), Upstash (rate-limit counters) and Google (web fonts). They may process data outside Switzerland and the EU, in particular in the United States. Where they do, the transfer relies on safeguards recognised under Swiss and EU law, such as the Swiss-U.S. and EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to its processing, by writing to us at the address above or through the contact form. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, if you live in the EU, with your local data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our website or our providers change. The date above shows the current version.
